This recipe is my version of General Tso's chicken. The white wine is optional, but does give a great element to the dish. I also left out 1 tsp of finely minced ginger, which I usually add. I will list it in the ingredients below. mary: Thank you Govhujang, your Gen Tso s Recipe was so easy And delicious. I used instead chicken w/ bones in small Chunks And followed your way. Your video is great no time wasted in learning your recipe.

OMG, wonderful video. I always wanted to marry a oriental woman so I could have food like this which I love. I am Cajun and my favorite foods are Cajun and Oriental, we both love rice. I am currently married to a woman from New Orleans who has limited cooking skills and I do all of the cooking, now I can cook Chinese food because of your videos, thank you so very much. I absolute love cooking and I love great food. I have my own line of seasonings which are sold worldwide and are some of the best seasonings in the world, www. HeavenMadeProducts. com. I cannot wait to cook this dish, my wife loves Orange Chicken which is similar to this dish. can you do a video on how to cook Orange Chicken so I can cook the dish for my wife? Thanks again, love your videos.

Looks DELICIOUS! Please do some of us a favor, either discontinue music totally (honestly, it's not necessary cuz we are all here for the recipe only) or turn down the volume, I can't because you're talking. When I think Asian cooking, I hear soothing, birds chirping, breeze, violins or harp. don't ask me why, don't know. :) but not get up & go music as if I were abt to workout. I know everyone won't agree, but I found the music annoying, considering u were telling us how to make & have such a soothing voice. One more suggestion. include Ingredient AMOUNT in writing on the screen with the ingredients. You did a great video, with great instructions. Thanks for sharing. Plan to make this week after I pick up a couple things I don't have. Blessings, L: )

I made your recipe tonight and WOW! It was soooo good! If someone made your recipe and gave it to me to eat and told me they got it from a Chinese restaurant I would believe them! It was delicious. It is the BEST recipe for Chinese food I have ever made at home. None of them ever taste or turn out like the restaurant and yours did! Thank you for the recipe, I will be making this again and next time I'll make a sweet and sour sauce because the chicken puffs up just like the chicken from the restaurant. Wow, it was beyond delicious. it was Magnificent! YUM!

I finally got around to making this using your recipe and my family loved it. I didn't have any fresh Ginger so I used some organic ground Ginger and I also could not find any Gochujang; is there a comparable substitute for the Gochujang? I'm going to reserve a little sauce next time for myself and I want it to have good heat. I wish I could get some of those little hot Thai reds.

Ok so my mom just got me a cooking pan for this kind of chicken and cooking stuff for my birthday and I love Chinese but we re under quarantine and can get and I have everything but corn starch so my question is do you need corn starch for this recipe

Anybody using garlic powder and onion powder can't be serious! Sorry. It should be made with dark meat. You need black vinegar. BTW fresh garlic and onions are still available in stores. Whole dried chili peppers should be used.

I'm curious, what kind of food does you and your family likes better, Mexican or Korean? Maybe strange question but there are so many foods, Mexican and Korean, and I see you make Chinese too, so I was wondering

I just made this for my family tonight and it was fantastic! we have a larger family so we used three chicken breasts which means we had to double everything but it still turned out perfect: -)
