I had everything but the lime and fresh squeezed orange juice. So, I used store bought orange juice and a lemon. Lol guess we'll see how it turns out xD I'm sure fresh would be better, but work with what you have, right? Thanks for the recipe! I'm looking forward to trying it. I know the lime would be better, but I just really wanted some fajitas. Got the chicken breasts marinating in the fridge for dinner later tonight. Thanks again!

Awesome recipe. Thinking about doing this next week for my brother in law's birthday. One question, how tender did the beef turn out? That's a concern of mine? Should I marinate over night to guarantee the tenderness? Your husband didnt seem to pull away so it made it seem like there was a little toughness to the beef. I am sure the flavors were there because EVERYTHING you do is FABULOUS! #myfamilyapproves

I am Latino and have been making fajitas for years. I have yet to find a recipe that is on par to what I have created. I never recommend cooking the steak as a single piece. Do you want the marinade to get in between all those places so I pre-cut it. And let a 24 hour marinade set in.

Nothing but skirt steak in San Antonio and I prefer flank unfortunately. Growing up with not much money, my mother made flank steak instead or actual steak meat lol. But she marinated it overnight and it was usually pretty tender. It's a very tough cut of meat if not marinated at least 24 hrs.

Made this marinade tonight subbing lemon juice for the lime because that's what I had on hand also doubled the recipe and poured in 1/3 soy sauce instead of tablespoon woops I am sure it will still taste delicious thanks for sharing!

I made your recipe and we just finished eating. They were delicious! It's a keeper it's going in my recipe box. Only thing I changed was the lime to a lemon I don't like lime but other than that man were they good! Thank you for the recipe

Fun fact. If you slice meat before you cook it you shouldn t ever cook it rare. It should always be well done because the bacteria that causes sickness gets into the inside of the meat rather than staying on the outer edge

looks delicious but i think maybe it needs little bit more oil if it s going to look or t taste like the fajitas from a restaurant just saying, thank you so much for the wonderful recipes you provide for us

Not the way we do fajitas in our family. This guy scan untraditional Mexican dish. Your spices need to be better suited for the dish. The marinade is the most important part besides searing.
