Today I am cooking at home and making honey sesame chicken. This is a great Chinese take-out recipe to make at home. Ingredients 2 lbs chicken breast 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp white pepper 1/4 tsp onion powder 1 Tbsp light soy sauce 1 Tbsp Shaoxing cooking wine egg white from a large egg 3 Tbsp cornstarch cooking oil for frying garnish with roasted sesame seeds DREDGE 2/3 cup cornstarch SAUCE 1 1/2 Tbsp cooking oil white of a scallion 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup honey 1 tsp soy sauce 2 tsp Shaoxing cooking wine 1 Tbsp rice vinegar 1/2 cup chicken broth salt to taste 1 tsp sesame oil Cornstarch Slurry 1 1/2 Tbsp cold water 1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch Artiefrog: Looks delicious. Just a question do you have a recipe for chow mein without the noodles? I can remember when chow mein was mostly bean sprouts and bok choy with other veggies thank you
