You know, I've never had these kind of dumplings. I really need to make them sometime. I've only had the fluffy big biscuity kind. :) Also, you aren't kidding about stretching. There's times past I only had one chicken quarter to feed four. Which meant soup! And leftovers of dumpling soup, ends up like a chicken pot pie consistency the next day with reheating because of the starch leeching out of the dumplings. It's SO GOOD. :)

Looks carbaliscious Great easy meal! I was raised with dumplings in the form of bisquick drop biscuits with melted butter & some poultry seasoning mixed in.

did your dumplings make sorta pillows? ?? I've never tried it this way. .. I usually drop them in like globs. This looks much more appetizing. .. lol
