Today I am making a small cake using boxed cake mix. I will show you how to portion the cake mix for a single layer 6-inch cake. Ingredients 1 cup boxed yellow cake mix 1 large egg 2 Tbsp cooking oil 1/3 cup milk 6-inch cake pan

Try again in the air fryer using a lower dish or pan. Wider, but maybe square instead of tall and round. and because of the way an Air fryer works, lower the Temp and cook longer, but keep checking on it. I don't have room for one, so I don't have one yet or I would have figured it out for you. Please let us know if you do.

What a fabulous idea. We eat pretty clean and it s just the two of us but once in a while, we get the hankering for something like this, and I m thrilled to be able to make a little mini 2 person portion and not feel like we have to eat a whole cake or it will go to waste. LOVE it!

Look super tasty. My mom used to cook all kinds of goodies and scrumptious meals like you do. I loved it as a kid. Three out of my five family members ended up with diabetes so there's that to think about, but the food definitely looks tasty

What a wonderful trick! Sometimes I just get a craving for a slice of cake and this will definitely do the trick. I once bought a slice. a single slice of cake. from HEB for four dollars. so this is definitely a money saver as well. Thanks

Hi A! Thank you for doing the cups. I'm going to try your recipe. A whole cake is always way to much since it's only me now and my 2 big dogs. Thanks for this great recipe! I will be trying it soon. Nice video my friend.

My Dad used to do the same when he was older. He just wanted a little sweet to go with his coffee. He'r make a half of the cake then top it with a homemade caramel frosting. It was delicious! Love you, Dad!

This is such an easy idea. It s just hubby and I and I don t always want to make a whole cake and freeze leftovers because it lasts me longer unprepared. This is perfect for us. Thanks for the idea!

Man thank you so much! I have needed this lol. I love this combo too. My favorite! And spice cake is next from this one. But when I have a sweet tooth this is what I need truly!

Using the air fryer you need to decrease the temperature by 25 degrees and the cook time by half. I've been using these directions waay before packages started putting air directions.

I love that you used this cake pan. I have two and have never used them and I really love the size of this cake. Plus I love how you always make things just for you, hay why not.

I enjoy the soothing tasks of measuring, mixing, stirring, even washing up. Making a teeny cake like this makes me feel all happy like a little kid with an EasyBake Oven.

Wow never thought to divide the cake mix to make a personal cake. So excited about this. Will go shoppping for my 6 inch pan before the weekend

I do this is well. I don t like things that have been frozen so I often will divide ingredients like this. I cook for one or two people at the most.
