Eggs are quite pricey now, so I think dump cake desserts are a great way to save on using eggs. INGREDIENTS 3 (15. 25 oz) cans of peaches in heavy syrup 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1 boxed yellow cake mix 1 stick of unsalted butter 9 x 13 baking pan or dish Bake at 350 F for 45 to 50 minutes Set for 15 minutes, then serve mrob75: OK this a man thing I m just not fond of the current dump stuff on You Tube / Face yes I cook / bake and its a lot of work, I know. I d prefer to eat this cake made the traditional way and some of those cinnamon peaches on the side Not hating really Just being honest. Thanks for sharing this upload though.

Yumm, dump cake! I used to make mine with chocolate cake mix and canned cherries, sometimes gooseberries when I could find them. I saw a tip where melted butter was mixed with the cake so that the wasn't any flour-ish stuff left on top. I haven't tried it that way, but it would definitely solve a problem with my dump cakes. Yours looks delish. Hmm, wonder if it could be a mug cake?

I make something similar like that. I use two cans peaches, some butter, quick oats, and cocnut sugar. I saute the sugar, butter and sometimes add coconut milk. I put it off to the side and then warm my peaches OR leave them cold. I pour the oatmeal coconut sugar cream sauce mixture over the peaches and share it with no one!

Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men and women who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it.

I do this same dump cake only I melt the stick of butter and mix it into the cake mix before I sprinkle it all on. Makes it more even and no chalky white spots of cake.

Egg prices are crazy right now! I just paid 8. 47 for an 18 ct carton of eggs at Walmart, usually one of the cheapest places for eggs in town. Yikes!

I wonder if my family could tell the difference & save me the energy. I always make my peach cobbler with ( no eggs) homemade biscuits on top.

Oh my goodness, could you imagine a little streusel topping or like a apple crisp topping. But yours will work to. Love peaches.
