There are Malay, Chinese and Indian food in Malaysia. Malay and Indian food are filled with spices and are usually loved by people all over the world. The Malay and Indian food served are the best, locals love them too, but refrain from eating outside everyday (to prevent getting fat, since it is too tasty. Chinese food are more plain and simpler but taste good too. They are not Halal though. You have to go to Penang to get the best Chinese food and the variety you can get, is just so many. If you want to eat most of the famous Chinese food, you need about 1 week of stomach capacity to try them.

I have just returned home. thanks to you, I went to Mansion Tea Stall and ikan bakar Seri Melaka. DELICIOUS. My sons loved Malaysia so much (landscapes, food, people. I am from Singapore. I think it's a bit over the top and unnecessary to put all the roti prata, sambal and half-boiled eggs in one dish. Traditional they are eaten separately (and not together) as dishes and not mixed into one. That is one weird fusion dish that most locals wouldn't have eaten. I'm serious. They might taste nice together but to most locals it would taste weird.

the egg in a hole of toast is called eggs in a hole if you want it in a basket. a nice grated potatoe basket fried and then add an egg to it with some fresh smoked only bacon and chives with a touch of cheese (sour cream works as well) and then some toast on the side. tastes awesome. like you have bacon eggs and hash browns with a little cheese omelette

For roti canai i prefer they put the curry and dhal in different bowl. and i will dip in later. cause it tasted better if u can still taste the crispyness of the roti. However if 'kuah banjir' like this still delicious just that u have to eat quick or if not will be soggy and taste not so good anymore

Hi Mark Viens, just a suggestion for you. Come to Sabah & Sarawak (East Malaysia) there's a lot of unique food we have here, different2 kind of local food from each ethnics of the people here. We have a lots of ethnics and culture here. You won't regret it coming here

Mark, I am curious after viewing a number of your videos, which I enjoy immensely. Have you ever gotten sick after eating street food? No one seems to wash hands, and some meals are prepared with feet or with dirty fingernails?
