TYRE, LEBANON - Tyre is an ancient coastal city of Lebanon, that dates back to 2750 BC as a Phoenician City. Its a fishing city, and so we set out to go on a fishing experience and eat local fish and hummus with a fisherman. Even though our catch was small, it was a hugely learning experience

Hi Mark Briefly, I want to express my gratitude for your videos - they've allowed me to grow deep respect and admiration for other cultures and ethnicities, something that I was struggling with as I was a bit sceptic in regards to appreciating people different from me. So thank you Also, come and visit CYPRUS. I am sure you will enjoy it. All the best with your travels.

Hello Mark. The large fish you were eating is called a Grey Triggerfish (Balistes capriscus. Apparently, it's a fish from the atlantic that has now found a home in the mediterranean.

Crushed garlic tastes stronger that sliced because the it releases more allicin (flavor compound) from its cells that way. Same concept for onion, which is related to garlic.

I'm hungry even though I'm full that fish must taste wonderful. Those fishermen really need to work hard. Let's hope that they get lucky the next time. I learned a lot from you

Fishing to the extreme. So many hours. And each time he jumps into the water. So tiring. Much appreciation. He was so humble. That's hospitality. Such an amazing country.
