Mark Wiens when I was growing in Thailand I never think of how street foods are served, but at my age now, I realize that street foods arent serve with any thought of cleanliness. For example how clean is that stone block hes using & the plates & utensils used, or even how clean are his hands when touches those veggies. Ive asked on your other video if youve ever gotten sick or gotten some kind of parasite.

My mother-in-law lives down the street just around the corner from there. We go to that mall when we visit for the free wi-fi. Theres a number of Indonesian cuisine restaurants inside now as well as chains like the bakery. Down the street to the right, towards the mosque there are a number of street food options including a weekday soup shop run by a family that leases space in my mothers home.

Mark, you are a real food warrior, and you are brave enough to eat at places where the hygiene is sub-standard. Just so that you don't end up for a long stay in a hospital, may I suggest that you get vaccinated against all forms of Hepatitis. We want to watch your videos for a long time to come.

I love Gado Gado, its one of my favorite Indonesian dishes. I have however never seen Gado Gado with noodles. From my experience, its different vegetables, and maybe potatoes, and a boiled egg and tofu or tempeh, topped with a really tasty peanut butter sauce.

Gado-Gado in Jakarta is different from Gado-Gado in East Java. In here (East Java) we call Gado-Gado Jakarta as Rujak. you should try East Java food as well. Well, thanks for make my mouth always watery everytime i watch ur vlog, mark

Dia menikmati jajanan pingggir jalan, sementara kita dengan bangganya makan di resto dari luar, yang menunya cuma ayam yang digoreng, cuma dikasih saos cabe sama sedikit nasi di KFC, dengan harga yang sangat mahal.
