I'm impressed. For a first timer (not to mention a foreigner) to eat Coto Makassar in the proper way, I gotta say you really did a good job there with the ingredients mixture part. Unlike most Indonesian food, the one from South Sulawesi need a little bit of tinkering to bring out the best taste. Salute man, you've tasted possibly the best taste of Coto Makassar in Jakarta. Thank you for the video. You should visit my hometown and try all the culinary there. Bet you'll like it.

you eat the ketupat in a wrong way my friend. First you should unpack the ketupat. just tear it apart right in the the catted place. then you gonna have two triangle of ketupat in your hand. then what you should do is take a piece of ketupat with your spoon and put it on your soup. then you can eat ketupat in your spoon along with the soup.

damn Mr. MARKyou got perfect weather huh? hahahathe best to eat hot soup/stew is while it's raining we mostly eat hot soup/stew during rainy day with spicy sambal/chili sauce. I'd recommend you to eat instant noodle (indomie soto + chili sauce) when it's raining

You should fly to makassar n get the authentic coto makassar. At coto nusantara. Try their sup saudara too and not forgotten their palu basa which u could get at palu basa serigala. Other then ketupat ( rice cake) please try buras. You will love it. Thank you.

Actually, if you'd like to have only meat for the coto, you could've asked the chef to give you only meat without other beef organs. One more thing, coto is much more delicious if you give some 'kecap', the thick sweet soy sauce, for the soup

acctualy not cetupat but buras. , buras same like lontong but they give coconut milk on there. , i think coto makasar have most really a good taste, the place beside rumah sakit bunda at cibubur. its really2 good coto makasar i ever meet
