Subscribe here: Watch more Korea food videos: On day 14 in South Korea, I was a guest at the Jeonju Academy of Kaileen Park: The 2 dishes at the Chinese restaurant are: 1) Tangsuyuk, which is deep fried pork, with a sweet and sour sauce that you dip your meat into. 2) Jjajangmyeon, which is noodles with a black bean sauce, and goes very well with sliced cucumber, and pickled radish. This dish is very popular, and people tend to also eat this after moving or unpacking in a new house/apt. kind of like how in America people order pizza after moving. A lot of people have both dishes ordered and delivered together. If you have any dish delivered, then when your done eating you simple put the dirty dishes back in the bag it came in, and leave it outside your door, and they'll come back to pick it up.

To start off the correct name for it is Black Pudding because the final stage in making them is to boil them to cook them. Sausages are made then cooked when required. Although some do call them Blood Sausage. By the look of it they have not got the oil hot enough as you need to seal ends when you Flash Fry it or the oil soaks into the Black Pudding. I know America (Not sure about Canada) does not allow the sale of fresh blood so they may have heard of them but only those who make their own will have tasted them

The black bean noodles are called JjaJjamyeong. It's black bean paste not black bean sauce. It's a very popular dish in Korea. Pansori, traditional Korean singing style, is part of Korea's intangible Unesco heritage and has experienced a revival in the last few years. It's a very powerful way of recanting life and also traditional Korean myth and lore. When I was in Jeonju, I overheard the life performance of a very famous Pansori female performer. She was recording for TV at the time and it was a real treat.

I feel very happy for you being able to do this kind of trips but to me this guided ones are not as exciting as the ones you are doing on your own. South Korea seems to be beautiful but I rather prefer to see you discovering it on your own than being driven from one spot to another. Same feeling I had with Jordan although it was a fantastic trip that henced my willing to go there: )

Mark, you remind me of an excited, and adventurous little boy. The way you look, and sound, especially when you eat, is priceless. I was born, and partly raised in the Caribbean, St. Croix, and loved when my mother used to get blood sausages every now, and then. I've been in the states for 32 years, and haven't had any since. Anyway. TFS another adventurous, exciting, and fun video.

really enjoy your videos but maybe its vary from country to country but blood sausage sorry to say. yaaakkk. sometimes i feel bizarre food should not be hosted by Andrew zimmern instead it should be you mark. i have a doubt do u really enjoy all the food or give a fake expression because how raw fish can be tasty i don't really understand.

hello mark. i always watch ur videos. and whenever i see u eating w/ a leaf wrapped food, i couldnt help myself but to ask what kind of leaf was that? and why do need to wrap their food w/ a leaf before eating? does it add taste or flavor to the food? thanks. from: gezzle in phils.

Awesome hugely entertaining video Mark, thanks Would any of you guys know of a good place to have Soondae (blood sausage) in Melbourne Australia? We used to have an excellent restaurant Googoo Soondae in Carnegie. but they've sadly closed shop a few years back.

Though you eat a lot but still manage to keep in shape. Because of balanced diet with lots of vegetables, herbs, spice. Also because you have good emotional health, always calm & happy. Also you are physically active, lots of walking. Good lifestyle
