24: 15 - Followed Mark Wiens and visited Zubeyir Ocakba during our trip to Istanbul Turkey last month - and I honestly, I wasn't impressed. There is nothing extra ordinary or special about this place or the food. Our Turkish cab driver was kind of disappointed that we were going to this place all the way from Sultan Ahmet / Fatih area. He said, go to Kebapci Mahmut and you will forget this Zubeyir place. Our stay was short in Istanbul, otherwise, I dearly wish if we had time to visit Kebapci Mahmut. - hopefully next time.

Hey Mark. Currently in Varna, Bulgaria. Will be in Istanbul for a month, starting July 25. Staying on the Asian side. Loved this video (as usual) and will definitely check out several of these places. JTurkey is a beautiful country. After seeing you order room service, the mixed grill, you must have been still hungry. Hotel's portion was very small. You stay so skinnyYou were a MK growing up? Your parents missionaries spreading the gospel. God Bless you and your family.

By the way, Turkish people do NOT ride camel. Turkey is NOT Arabia or India. It's a unique country with hospitalies, fabulous flavors, 7 different variety of climate of 7 different region and their different natures.
