For more delicious Portuguese food, check out my Lisbon Travel Guide: Camera I use: On Day 27 in Lisbon, Portugal, I made up my mind to eat as much Portuguese food and at some of the best local restaurants in Lisbon. It turned out to be a fantastic day in Lisbon with some seriously good Portuguese food 00: 36 Cafe Martinho Da Arcada at Praa do Comrcio - The first place we stopped in the morning is a legendary cafe in Lisbon that is the oldest cafe in Lisbon called Cafe Martinho Da Arcada. The main reason I wanted to go there was to try their pastis de bacalhau, classic Portuguese food codfish fritters. The coffee and ambience and of the cafe was also nice

you tried like 1% of the good foods, you have to try leitao(grilled baby pork) in Bairrada in the center of portugal, you have to try franguinho da guia( small chicken with an awesome spicy sauce, best chicken i ate in my life) in the south in Guia, Portimao, you have to try the fish from the south, you have to try the grilled iberic pig, and a lot more. you should have tried the octopus made in woven with olive oil, its just amazing, and grilled cod fish is also awesome.

I have never been to Portugal, but honestly, the vast majority of things that i saw in this video remind me of my country, Greece. Both architecture and cuisine (the homemade Greek cuisine, not what we sell to the tourists as Greek. 8: 26 is what i ate last weekend, and honestly i had no idea that it is eaten this way abroad. Is this a common reality or is it a coincidence of the specific video?

i dont understand the boiled salted dried cod with all the fresh seafood around thoughwhere im from Usually only cod liver is eaten. its cooked and canned in oil when it gets here. then the oil and liver is mixed with chopped boiled eggs and onions. pepper, fresh dill and lemon juice are added to the mix and then eaten on top of slice of bread.

Mark, the next time you visit Portugal, I advise you to visit the north of the country, the Minho region is one of the richest gastronomically. Lisbon has many good restaurants, but the regional quality is seen in the simplicity of the people, the villages. However I leave my congratulations for the video and for your presence.

I lived in Lisboa in 2011/2012. Esta video me lembras de todas de cozinha maravilhosa. So glad you enjoyed yourself, Mark And yes -- the coffee is so underrated My Portuguese ex-husband used to say there were three things Portuguese worshipped: coffee, football, and beer, and not in that order.

When I tour Europe and countries where spicy food is not the norm, I carry fresh green chillies to enhance the food. Mark you should do that, you should have bought yourself some chillies in Lisbon. The food was totally not for chilli hot lovers.

The scenes at the cafes (especially at the Cantinho do Aziz) created an almost Gouldian effect to the extent that the ambient conversations served as a nearly contrapuntal accompaniment to the primary themes of Mark's narrative.

There's better food in other countries. This is too expensive and vulgar food really. You should try Turkish food, Taiwanese, Australian sea food, amazing Greek and Iranian dishes. In Europe best food is the Italian.
