Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm: Antons channel: This is the final video in this Philippines food travel video series We took a trip to Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm, which is an entire village where some of the most underprivileged families in the Philippines are given a chance to use their unique creativity to foster businesses and improve their lives. Along with my friend Anton from Our Awesome Planet we drove about 1. 5 outside of Manila, to the farm. Its a beautiful place, with friendly people, and many projects around the farm. They have a restaurant, using all local ingredients, most of which are from the farm, a university training students to be their own agricultural entrepreneurs, and dozens of other businesses on the farm. There are even a few beverages made from local ingredients which are being marketed and sold on the commercial market in the Philippines. After walking around the village for a few minutes, we headed over to an Auntys house who is known throughout the village for her cooking. They cooked a number of dishes, including her famous carrot rice, chicken curry, and fried bangus milkfish. All the Filipino food was delicious, but I especially enjoyed the carrot rice and the vegetables which were all so incredibly fresh and simmered down with coconut milk. Not only was it an amazing home-cooked Filipino food meal, but spending some time and meeting people at Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm, was the highlight

Each country has its thorny problems, and their government should solve those problems, foreign aid is limited. We can appeal to the local government to pay attention to the humanitarian issues, the relevant departments of the municipal government should as soon as possible to contact the charity foundation, to help elderly people on the street. In addition, in the streets of Bangkok, I have seen elder begging, I sympathize with them, during my stay in Bangkok, the money I was carrying could not help them for a long time. Nevertheless, I can continue to call on the government of Thailand to pay attention to humanitarian issues.

Hey Mark, first of all i loved this video of yours and this Gawad Kalinga village reminds me of a school in my country India called Kalinga institute which is the biggest school for tribal people in the world and its kitchen makes one of the most delicious cuisine(it was even visited by gordan ramsay when he came to visit India. This kitchen serves 3 meals(breakfast, lunch, dinner) for 50 thousand(yes you heard right) school children every day which makes it one of the world's biggest kitchen. so if you ever come to visit India in the future then i highly recommend you to visit this institute.

Good day to every object, it's a pleasure to meet you, I am on ground in earth, is also typical of gourmet, although you're different from his field, on the whole, I haven't seen the dishes from the Nordic countries(Greenland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland) as yet, I don't mean to find fault with your eating habit, have you ever thought about staying in a chili sauce factory?

I was born in PI but came to America in 1981. I've only been able to visit twice. I'm so over due again. Although I don't speak the language however understand it for the most part, it was easy to communicate with the locals since they all know how to speak a little English.
