How to Make Mission-Style Tacos with Tony Trujillo

Why take a trip to your local Mexican joint when you can have one on your patio? Watch Tony Trujillo-a pro skater and member of the band Bad Shit-make simple and fast Mission-style tacos for his family in their San Francisco backyard. Trujillo soups up his gas grill by rigging it to a shopping cart, creating a mobile taquer-a in the process. Add carne asada, some onions and herbs, and a six-year-old skater who recently learned how to use the word bro, and you've got a memorable meal in the making

That's -carne adobada- not -carne asada-. They marinate it with a special secret mixture of spices and sauces. If have ever gone to eat tacos in Mexico it's the meat the have in a kebab style grill. In fact, if you want to open your own taco stand and want to sell tacos of -carne adobada- you have to pay someone for the recipe, I once heard that they charged up to -1, 000 bucks just for it, worth the investment tho.

Id scarff that shit anyday. Straight up stoner parent style but still mildly nutritious. Corn tortillas are fine. The marinated meat prob has more sodium but sodium is an essential nutrient especially for little skater kids, plus meat is full of potassium that moderates the sodium. Cilantro has hard to find nutrients and onions and radish are fire. Little grill like that = easy af + even cook.

I'm starting to wonder if Munchies viewers understand that it's operated by Vice Magazine. Even a better question. - Do they even know what Vice Magazine is? --I assure you, it's pages are not filled with amazing recipes and reviews of restaurants with Michelin Stars. Go check out the Food Network and leave people living how they want alone.

I seriously think this was a joke episode. I mean a pro skater cooking? Yeah I don't think so. Maybe Munchies was like, -eh let's just do a random ass episode where we really don't have to ask too much from a chef. - it's more like they did it to embarrass this skater guy. lol

Y'all don't get it at all. If you need help making tacos, that's pathetic. If you don't know who Tony Trujillo is, that's also a shame. I came here to watch him do something like make tacos on a shopping cart, and I'm very satisfied.

The only reason why I see people disliking this video is because it doesn't seem like a cooking video more than a talk show. Viewers want to see the marinade being assembled and actually talk about food.

Ok so those tacos looked fairly good and they all seemed like cool, nice people, but all I learned from this How-To video is that his son might be transgender. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I use to idolize this guy in the early millennium, around 2003-2005. He was such a rockstar back then. I still love him for sure. I can't wait to see his new VANS video part.
