Rating: 4.5; Vote: 2
The inaugural episode of 'The Pizza Show' kicks off in Brooklyn. Our host Frank Pinello, a born and bred Brooklynite, remembers the importance of his neighborhood pizzeria growing up. We start at Roberta's in Bushwick, a pizzeria that has truly changed an entire neighborhood. Then we spend some time with Mark Iacono, owner of Lucali in Carroll Gardens, who built his restaurant by hand and is working tirelessly to preserve the tradition of his neighborhood through pizza. And what would any pizza show be without visiting the king: Dom DeMarco of Di Fara in Midwood? Dom is a legend, and even when great pizzaiolos visit him, like Frank and Mark, they can end up questioning their own pies

I visited NYC 4 years ago and had pizza from a neighbourhood shop in Brooklyn, not famous or anything and I still reminiscence of that day. I started with 1 slice and ate 6 slices in total and couldn't walk. I am hoping for a trip to USA and travel Eastern and southern states just to have Pizza, Burgers, roasts and cray fish. I hope I can survive this pandemic and make enough money to save for that trip.

I find Maggie slightly arrogance borderline ungrateful. Comes across as hey my fathers got this on the plate and I can treat people like dicks, I went onto google reviews and most comments are mentioning maggies attitude problems towards customers

That-s the best thing I love about New York, different cultures and backgrounds but at the end of the day if you say something bad about New York they will whoop your ass because they will always be New Yorkers no matter what -

I love how at 20: 26 Mark asks Dom to come by his shop one night with like the most earnest plea he can utter without sounding too needy. It shows the great deal of respect he has for Dom.

Frank might be the chillest dude I-ve ever seen. I really like these, but it would be a lot less entertaining without him. So I-m just here to say, thank you Frank, we appreciate you.

Absolutely. No question. Many places can brag about their pizza, but Brooklyn has 1000's of pizza places, and even the worst of them can turn out to be amazing.
