These are the types of places that we need a lot more of because these people love what they do and they take pride in taking the time and effort to prepare everything they make using quality ingredients. Even if it is a little more expensive and you have to wait a little bit longer that shouldn't matter cause you know what you're getting was made with care.

i love this about America, people from all over the world come here seeking the American dream, still keeps some part of their culture but has the American flag represented on their uniform. This is so unlike where im from in Australia and probably in Europe where immigrants still largely stick to their own kind and ghettos.

One thing you can say for sure about Italians is they are very generous and hospitable. I'm Asian American and used to rent from Italian families in Astoria, Queens and they would send up plates of all the food and desserts from all of their family gatherings and BBQs. I gained like 20 pounds over 5 years living there.

Always 1 irish kid that gets taken in as family in an italian family - I'm one of them I did the same thing and became part of the family. My boss is like my 2nd dad. He says the same shit to me. His wife always busts my balls saying I'm the son he never got to have. he has 3 daughters. -

Working for a small pizza shop I can really relate to this family. So lucky to have run into the family who own it, they really don-t make them like this anymore. Always so caring and nice it goes beyond business. God bless this Italian family

It-d be the absolute dream to be a regular to this shop and for them to ask if I want -the usual? -. Which would more than likely be an espresso and some form of breakfast roll or an espresso and some cold cut sandwich. Absolute heaven.

As someone who goes here about once a month. This place is phenomenal. The staff and the food is one of a kind. It-s more than just food it-s an entire experience. Really wish there was more places like this.

Their sandwich is absolutely amazing, and mom/pop shops like this deli is what makes NYC special! I am all for supporting small businesses + sincerely hope that Tony-s deli survives Covid-19 pandemic! ---
