At Divine Flavored Nigerian Food Truck, Godshelter and Bisola Oluwalogbon serve Nigerian cuisine outside the Nigerian Consulate in Midtown Manhattan. Their most popular dish is their goat meat jolloff rice, but they also make local specialities like moimoi, gizzdodo, efo elegusi, and peppered snail. Godshelter and Bisola grew up in Nigeria, and after meeting in Brooklyn in 2006, they started catering to the consulate out of their minivan. They-ve since expanded to a brick-and-mortar location and two food trucks. #streetfoodicons #streetfood #munchies

like that's crazy that's like if a mexican guy moved to Nigeria doesn't know how to cook for himself and has to adapt and then finds out theres a guy there who sells authentic Mexican food like if that were me I'd wanna hug the dude imagine that gigantic sigh of relief knowing you can have a little taste of home all those thousands of miles away

Just from watching these every person have said something about the American dream and just how blessed they are to be here. It-s amazing and I don-t think as Americans we see how blessed we are to be born here

This man knows what the american dream is. It's a potential not a promise. No where in the phrase american dream does it say its easy. You have to work hard for what you want and need. Good man

-The American dream comes with a lot of hard work and sacrifices. - That is such a true statement. Your dreams must progress from the REM state to reality and thus fruition. The dishes look great.

I love people like this. People that understand that the American dream requires hard work and sacrifice. I hate the ones that either come illegally or that come to live off of taxpayer money.

Have you started shipping your Nigerian cuisine through the mail yet? How do we contact you to purchase some Nigerian food through the mail? Do you have a Nigerian food truck website?
