MUNCHIES visits Soul Fire Farm, an Afro-Indigenous centered community farm committed to uprooting racism and seeding sovereignty in the food system in upstate NY. The team at Soul Fire Farm is devoted to ending food apartheid, the socioeconomic systems in place that discriminate against predominantly Black and Brown communities and make it difficult to source healthy, whole foods. Using ancestral and indigenous growing techniques, Soul Farm Farm not only grows and distributes fresh food to those who need it for free, they teach the next generation of activist-farmers to create their own sustainable farming communities

Incredibly racist that they don't make this available to the Caucasian public and only blacks and Browns as she stated. This video is what's wrong with the world. History is history we all need to Co-habitate this planet and get along and put race aside. This video makes me sick and sad and makes me lose faith in humanity. I'm a First Nations Native Man and this video infuriates me

This was super interesting. I'm happy to see that not only are they getting back in touch with nature, their roots, etc, but they're also helping the people in their communities eat well. Two thumbs up from me.
