White pepper, White vinegar. Soya sauce, sesame oil, Enoki mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots and egg shreds in my version in broth thickened slightly with cornstarch with Green onions on top. And some strips of pork and tofu. I am not sure what region the version you made is from but the one i make is a traditional one. not sure what region. Both delicious though.

Out of all the hot and sour soups that I have eaten over the years a lot of them tasted very acidic. Tried your recipe and its the best one that I ever had

I love the addition of the egg. Sort of like combining egg drop soup with hot and sour. But I would definitely omit the tofu. I can't stand that crap!
