Today I'll show you how to make the best homemade Egg McMuffin(s) better than McDonald's! Lynn: I'll tell you what. No one ever seems to have anything good to say about the folks at McDonalds. Those who critcize that company only out themselves as communists who hate capitalism. I truthfully say thank you to McDonals. They have given millions a start in life with their first job and a chance to go on to a higher education or their own business. There are many menus items that I puzzle me why they would not put on their menu at least part of the day. I wonder why an egg McMuffin can't be made with a beef patty? Why can't they make a Chic Fil A chicken bsquit sandwich? They cook all of the ingredients already.

Theres a 2 ingredient pizza dough thatd be interesting to see your take on it. Here is my rendition of it to use as a reference. 1 cup plain Greek yogurt 1 cup self rising flourSprinkle of OreganoSprinkle of red pepper flake 1 cup tomato basil spaghetti sauce2 cups mozzarella cheese2 cups mild cheddar cheesePepperoniBake 500 degrees for 20 min. Now this is off of a recipe I found on YouTube.

That's not bacon. That's ham. Completely different cuts of pork. Saying bacon is the same as ham is like saying gowl is the same as ground beef. Real bacon isn't even cut from regions other the belly. Again, real bacon. Way to go CA-na-DI-an-S. I could see if you were using Prosciutto. That's an excellent bacon substitute. Not cut from the same side, but still contains the same fat/pork ratio.

A real baker would tell you that you need to measure in grams, and the yeast doesn't need to start in water. Just put it in the mix out of the package. Also your shortening doesn't need to be melted, just good and sift at room temp. But hey, semantics. Thanks for doing what you do by the way.

Subbed! Love your vids a lot. Only critique, and don't hate me. you went to the extent of making your own dough and using high quality ingredients only to use a slice of 'modified cheese product'. Gotta go with real cheddar man! Please keep making mouth watering foods!

WAY too much work and time. I can buy English muffins on sale, 8 for a buck fifty. I use back bacon, cheeze whiz, a microwaved egg in a round container, a little sriracha mayo and It takes less than 5 mins to make one.

I stumbled across your videos about a year ago and I have been enjoying them ever since the good work! You keep myself and my wife inspired and I love the relationship that you have with your family also.

You bring all these great ingredients and use Cheese food singles for cheese? I use real Muenster, Colby/Jack or Swiss when making egg sandwiches. 1 bad ingredient brings all the others down a level.

I like McMuffins without the terrible McDonalds egg, but I'd change the one thing you didn't. The cheese, Some extra sharp cheddar instead of that plastic cheese flavor.
