I was born and raised in SD, and I moved to Chicago 2 years ago. Ive been dying for a cali burrito for a year now. Im torturing myself watching this. its also 7am here Good Mexican food here is hard to find just because I have such high standard being from SD. they literally only put meat and lettuce in their burritos here: (

Love you video man, being from Mexico I can definitely tell you that dont worry about what anyone tells you about the correctness of your recipe, those twists you put into your recipes are what makes the interesting! One question. is Mexican oregano more Mexican than a Japanese mayo is Japanese?

Anyone who takes the time to watch his videos just to criticize can go eat a D. The guy makes great food, has a killer backyard & a big following. Must be doing something right if hes got millions of people watching.

Not being from a burrito culture I'll probably get lynched for saying this, buuuut. Surely a burrito is as personal as a sandwich. If you enjoy it, there is no real wrong way, just traditional vs untraditional.

1. I would add cheese in FIRST and cheese in LAST then roll - then grill it on all four sides - the cheese melts when you bite into it and its crispy perfection 2. I would add rice as well
