My wife introduced me something from her childhood. Its called a bologna boat. Essentially fried bologna. (Let it bowl up while cooking. Then add mashed potatoes topped with cheese. Sounds nuts but it works. Im sure you could perfect on it. Also would love to see you do some poutine if you havent done it already!

Nothing wrong with using a deep fryer. Anyone that says they wouldn't make their fries in a deep fryer if they own one is lying. Only problem is it made me look up what a small counter top deep fryer costs nowadays. They have gotten so cheap, I'm tempted to get one.

I don't really care too much if people use frozen fries. There's no difference, it's just fried potatoes. It's like getting mad at someone for buying canned tomatoes instead of growing their own tomatoes and then canning them.
