Mmm Cantenela's is AMAZING! I know my favorite noodle to do pasta bakes with is Cellentani. The corkscrew shape with the grooves along the sides just make it hold onto all that amazing sauce. Add 1 lb italian sausage. Dice up some orange bell pepper, poblano pepper, mushrooms, onions, Diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, basil, garlic, and some mozzarella cheese. Bake, covered, at 375 for about 20-25 minutes. Uncover, and sprinkle fresh chopped parsley and an itlian blend cheese over the top. Let it finish in the oven about another 10 minutes, or until pasta is cooked and cheese is melty. Mmmm so good. Also, do you use the whole tomatoes for quality? Since it can sorta be whatever in diced tomatoes. Just curious. Know this will get buried under the 940 other comments though lol

I wonder if Sam thinks there are international supermarkets all across America, that's not on the coasts, or any major metro city, lol? Half of America is lucky there's a Walmart and a local supermarket chain in the area. I know, because I up in a town like that. Heck, even here in the Atlanta suburbs, you are lucky if you can find a Mexican grocery, and it's a 35-minute drive and the Asian market is about an hour's drive. Californians. :DDD

I started watching your videos in the last month. I love what you do and how you can pull anything out of the pantry and make something delicious, or gorgeous as you say. I work overseas and have been able to adapt the principles you show. Keep it going! Next time I get to San Diego I will come to not not tacos. If you get to japan after the virus, let me know and I will take you to my favorite places.

Thanks for sharing Sam. I made this tonight for my family of four and we all loved it! I put a little too much red pepper in it and it made it a bit too spicy for a couple of us. Next time I will dial that back a bit. This made enough for two meals for four. So I am going to freeze the other half.

I made this today and it was the bomb! Much easier than lasagna but generally the same effect. 35 minutes at 350 degrees did the trick. Adding olive oil and pepper to the ricotta was inspired. It gave a really great olive oil flavor.

the most important thing when making a good baked ziti (or any pasta dish actually) is to first mix all of the pasta with some of the sauce, so the pasta gets a wonderful color and absorbs the sauce and flavors properly

I know this has nothing to do with the video but those Harry's razors you were talking about are amazing. I'll never use another one again. Just tell them not to start inflating the prices when they gain more popularity
