How can a delicious beef stroganoff sauce on top of homemade steak cut fries possibly be a bad thing? Sam, you just did Beef Stroganoff the Brazilian way. Sort of. The Brazilian version of beef stroganoff is sided with white rice and potatoes (as per the preference of who's making the dish - could be baked, smashed, fried, rosti. the sky is the limit. Thanks for another great episode!

Looks great. My family's recipe is the same except we never liked mushrooms, so heck yeah to the onions except 1/2 butter and 1/2 olive oil to soften, beef broth of course. Then the sour cream and about an equal amount of ketchup. Sounds kinda uuugggg, but it is also so good! I need an outdoor set up like you have. Making steak on the stove top is messy with the spitting and splatter.

I have a similar Stroganoff recipe, but I use ground beef instead of steaks. It's way cheaper and easier to use. If I was going to serve it to company, I'd probably use steak, but hamburger works great. I can imagine it working especially well on the fries, since you'd get a little meat in every bite.
Also, try it on noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes. SO good.

Just curious, has anyone else noticed the past few Sam videos have looked really red? No other video I watch looks this way but his past 2 or 3 videos have had a super red tint on them for my TV. At first I thought he had a sunburn Love them regardless though!

I'm not about to leave a comment, or tell you how great ur vids and recipes are. The fact that you think I might even consider doing it shows how desperate you are. As for Chance, well there is always dreamng. lmao LOVE UR CONTENT, keep it up

It looks fantastic as do all your videos, thank you so much for giving people great ideas and very helpful video tutorials that make attempting the dishes easier to understand. It is always nice to see a fellow Canadian do so well.

Shut up, Sam! Your cooking sucks! Well, that means I would suck it up and eat it every time, especially this dish! Nice one! If you added this to your menu at your eats shop, how much would you charge? Just curious.

Oh man, it LOOKS like a fancy poutine but with the flavor of stroganoff on wedges lol. I'm 100% using that fry recipe though since I have a bunch of russets leftover from making some curry yesterday.

Yes, we would be most fortunate to find some of these ingredients in Alabama. Or to even afford the tools you use. We are blessed to see your videos- you rock. It makes me hungry to watch it.

That looks glorious! Love that spice & parm coating on the fries.
Something in the same vein that you should really try is fries with beef stew, along with a good dollop of mayo.

Sam, I love ya buddy but ya gotta put those resting juices in the sauce, fam. Love you guys and the nakirri is still amazing after 3 years of use! Thanks for what you do.

Dang Sam - You triggered some sort of Pavlov's dog thingy in me - This dish is a 10/10. I have out of town company visiting next week and this will be on my cook list.

Not the biggest stroganoff fan, but seeing this and all I can think about is it's missing cheese curds. This is pretty much already poutine minus the melty cheese.

In Holland everybody got a deep fryer so surprised that during my time in the Bay Area that almost nobody had a deep fryer. no kroketten either that was no living

Interesting Idea to keep the steak separate. Certainly going to try this. I make it usually with veal and incorporate it into the sauce to combine the flavors.

Looks fantastic except for the raw meat.
If I asked really nice is there a nice vegetarian dish you can make?
Please?
A Challenge!
