CRISPY LAMB MOUSSAKA RECIPE - SORTED

One of the things we love to do with our recipes is mix them up, add our SORTED twist. That means we keep all the flavour but it becomes easier to make. Which is exactly what we've done with our Moussaka. This Greek style dish is packed full of flavour but is much easier to make than a traditional moussaka. We've removed the white sauce and replaced it with a feta, mint and breadcrumb topping to create that fantastic crispy texture!

a classic greek mousaka has layers of potatoe and aubergine fried at the bottom, then the sauce which has usually beef in it and not lamb and topped with bechamel sauce and cheese. i am greek so. :P still a great version though! and much easier!

It's normally a factor of how quickly you want to cook it. Tough cuts require less heat for longer. Some meats need cooking right to the middle without the outside drying out etc! It just depends: -)

I know this is a really old video and someone's probably told you, but moussaka isn't like Mustafa. You emphasise the ka at the end. amazing recipe tho: )

May I ask a silly question Ben, how would you know that this dish needs to go into the oven at say 100 or 160oC instead of 180 or 200oC?
