To all the people criticising the hummus recipe, please read (this is my experience with this video): Me watching video: Oooh Hummus recipe Ive always wanted to try making hummus But tahini is so expensive in my country and if I try to make that AND hummus it will mean more clean up. WAIT Theres no tahini? Classic hummus doesnt need tahini? Ive been lied to this whole timeReads commentsOh. so it does need the tahini. So thank you, people in the comments. You have saved me from a bad recipe.

Hummus, Fatouch and Falafel are wrong. HUMMUS: add tahini and remove the cumin. FATOUCH: no vinegar, there is enough acidity from the lemon and sumak and there no all spices either and the peta bread must be thin and flat, or at least toasted on both sides (it should break not stretch. FALAFEL: is a mix between chickpeas (1/4) and beans (3/4. The simple addition of a spice is a HUGE difference in tast. Stop butchering great recepies with a simple twist.

Thats definitely not the way to make any of these, so if anyone wants the REAL recipe for any of these Id have no problem in finding a good recipe in arabic and translating it for you. (Id give you how id make some of these but the problem is, barely any Arab makes their own hummus and falafel, this shit can be found in every corner on any street and its cheap asf, same goes for the shawerma, for the fatoush though, its pretty simple, we do make it at home)

Yes, we all know these recipes arent very accurate. But some of you guys are saying this is Arab, not Mediterranean. Foods like Falafel existed in the Mediterranean Levant countries like Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine, and also countries like Egypt wayyy before they ever became Arab people. So yes, this is MEDITERRANEAN

I just read the comments. I agree, these are not authentic but while watching I realised that I can adapt these recipes to my Keto diet (with a few exemptions. I dont know if they claim authenticity but its another way of doing our national dishes. Variety is the spice of life

No No NoThats not how you make classic hummus. No hummus without tahini. And the falafel wounded my soul It MUST NOT be dense. It should be fluffy. Next time please dont google how to make classic hummus, ask someone who actually knows the classic recipes.
