I Tested The Most Popular Hot Dog Toaster Donald: i bought the same hot dog toaster over a year ago, i think i paid 15 for it (minus shipping & handling. I think it works great, i used the cheap hot dogs and buns from market pantry (target) and got good results. the only things that i didnt like about it was the tongs and the cheaply made materials (the spring, otherwise i say its good considering how cheap it was. If it was a 50 or more expensive toaster then yea id say its not worth it. but if you consider how much the product costs vs its performance, then it rates higher than what was shown here. Ive had a normal toaster that costs at least 40 that didnt work at all and couldnt get a refund on. so i think if you are going to review the product i think its also worth taking into consideration of how much the product costs. (ok rant done)

I found another hot dog toaster called the Elite Cuisine EHD-051R from Amazon. It seems to be much more of like a gas-station hot dog machine, with the transparent top to show the turning hot dogs, and a bun warmer below that, also with a little transparent door that says Elite Cuisine on it. This one though doesn't even have heat settings to it. Just a timer, and 2 indicator lights. This one though can hold up to 4 hot dogs, and 4 buns, instead of just 2 each.

Yeah, I bought this exact toaster, and found everything you found wrong with it is true. Way disappointing. I was actually looking into the toaster when it made the pop you had, and it's juices from the hot dogs hitting the heating elements, and arcing/sparking. Unnerving to say the least.

There are so many dumb and useless products on the market, and this is no exception. It deserves to be stored right next to the popcorn maker. And that storage area is the garbage dump. Seriously, hot dogs are something that an eight year old kid can prepare with common kitchen utilities

Those buns do look thicker than the standard grocery store ones i use. They almost look like the thicker potato or coney island ones. Also I usually run new oven electronics a few times empty to get rid of that plasticky burning smell.

A hotdog is not a sandwich. A sandwich is at its base a piece of meat surrounded by carbs on 2 sides. A hotdog is surrounded by carbs on not 2, but 3 sides. This means that hotdogs are not sandwiches, but rather tacos.

So about putting you in between bread and you not being a sandwich is this because your human because if so tell Gordon Ramsay after all he made a Idiot sandwich so you could be that if you want

DUMP Hot Dog Toaster in TRASH Boil hot dogs in water for full juicy and put opened buns in oven and turn broil to watch buns bake to golden brown, you have delicious mother(bleep) hot dogs

I use my toaster oven because it chars them very well and I hate unchared hot dogs, I do tolerate 7-elevens hotdogs because they are big and juicy but I hate boiled/nuked hot dogs.
