Pull-Apart Marbled Taro Bread Shanerey Lamboloto: Julie's bakeshop in the Philippines kinda have the same kind of bread. Difference is that it more purple, (i guess due to food color) and smothered in butter sugar mix topped with shredded cheese. But it is as fluffy

Looks delicious to me, family from rural kentucky, we eat a lot of bread, helps fill you up when you do not have a large amount of food for a large amount of folks/family, one of my fave snacks is cornbread crumbled up in a glass with buttermilk, eat it with a spoon, raw chunk of onion on the side. I know most folks might not care for because they do not like buttermilk. Is delicious to me, also we make non sweet cornbread in an iron skillet with yellow corn meal, not corn flour or those little boxes of jiffy sweet corn bread/muffins mix. Bake our cornbread in the oven, heat the skillet up in the oven for appx. 20 minutes with a tablespoon of bacon grease in the skillet, screaming hot when you pull out the skillet, lol, be safe if you try this, and then pour in the cornbread batter and place back in the oven til finished. We usually use martha white brand cornbread mix. It is delicious. Green onions or i think some call scallions are good also if you think a chunk of raw onion is to strong. Also, you can use regular milk in the glass with the crumbled cornbread, if you just can't take the taste of buttermilk. If anyone is interested, post me here and i will give you a simple recipe/ way to make fried cornbread, it is also delicious. Have a great day folks, God bless you all
