Im a bit confused. My native tongue is german and mandelbrot means almond bread. If you google american jewish mandelbrot you get recipes without mandeln (almonds) if you google german jewish mandelbrot (jdisches mandelbrot, you get recipes with a lot of almonds. Did american jews just dislike the almonds and that is why they didnt add it, but kept the name? Someone with more knowledge than me needs to investigate xD

In Iceland, they have a pastry similar to this called Hjnabandssla (literally means Wedding Bliss. The dough+crumble is made from flour, sugar, oatmeal and butter/margarine and it has rhubarb jam spread between the dough and the crumble. It is really delicious, and judging from the video, eating this in a nice setting with afternoon tea/coffee with friends or family must be a similar experience

Tasty has a portfolio consisting a great variety of cuisines from very different cultures. However, we do not enjoy the beauties of the wonderful dishes from the rich Turkish cuisine. I dont know if this is a deliberate act or not. Its time to explore more about the Turkish cuisine. Believe me you will appreciate these tastes greatly.
