You saved me! I was really needing some chairs for my new house and couldn't find anything I liked within my budget. Thanks to your video I ended up at our local goodwill picked a pair of chairs and now I have furniture that feels special to me. I can't wait to learn more from you.

This chair is literally your best DIY ever. besides the Ikea hack with the caning on the piece in your dining room. Real leather you wouldn't hear your hands run over that but I guess that is unavoidable. What if you spilled something on it? How would you clean it?

Ugh hard to watch him break up a set of actually nice chairs when poor families could never afford a pair. :( Alas.
I'm sure it will be a cool project.

I'm dying to know how this has held up over time! Is it a good option for long term use? Especially wondering for a main couch that is used every day

Ok, now I HAVE to do this to a chair that I got from my parents. Initially, I wanted to have it reupholstered, but now I think I want to try this!

DIY Wife brought me here! What a great idea for repurposing a thrifted item of furniture and far more cost-effective than getting it reupholstered.

Drew, how has this held up so far? Has it started peeling, cracking, flaking off, or staining clothing? Thanks for a fabulous idea.
