Well, taste is subjective, I personally prefers his drawing to yours. For sure your drawing is technically superior, the proportions, pose and the rendering look more close to the source. I think he is less concern with reproducing the reality and more concerned with the impact, I like the higher contrast he uses, and the sharpness of the muscles. It make it looks more -artistic-, expressive, more stylized, it gives it a mood. But that is just my taste of course.

If anybody wants to learn how to draw I recomend you to buy PROKO's videos. I' be gone to colleges to -learn how to draw- and all I get is pseudohippies that can't give you a demo because they do NOT know themselves how to draw. I watched a couple of videos and learned more in 15 minutes than in 3 semesters of booooooring classes.

After watching this video. oh my go I never think this much while drawing. seems like it will take lifetime to actually learn drawing properly
