I probably enjoy these podcasts where you interview different professionals more than anything else you do. Some of the information is golden. I do wish you could go back and do separate programs with some of the artists and show us how they produced some of their favorite pieces from a blank page to completed work, including how the concept was developed, what materials were used, what techniques were used for instance to place figures on the page, what preliminary work was done. Well, I think you get the idea. Thanks again. These programs are great.

6: 53 That girl said she wanted to do speed because she could finish art faster but I feel like the time it takes to finish an artwork really builds motivation and stuff like that but she and I must have different ideas of it. I feel like drawing and painting it really build how you grow into art with the time it takes to finish one art piece. Unless its for like a commission for money then I would understand the speed part.

7: 06 I have a lot of the same influences as this guy! I LOVE many of the artists at riot. The art is actually one of the main reasons I still play that game from time to time. I'm also currently playing Dishonored 2, at the grand palace! Of course there are also a lot of youtubers I take inspiration from. Some one those include Sinix Design, Ahmed Aldoori, Kienan Lafferty, RossDraws, Sycra, and Marc Brunet. :3

My biggest art influence(s) growing up was sonic and DBZ. I think sonic's artstyle and character design really opened me up to the more radical, urban coolness of the 90s and DBZ introduced me to big, muscle men beating the shit out of eachother.
Over time I picked up influences from other things but I'd say those are the catalysts of what made me love drawing

Burne Hogarth and Alex Ross along with my art teacher from way back in my high school days Mr. Charles Berry. I know Mr. Berry really doesn't fit into this conversation for any of you but if anyone of you could have seen his work you would immediately understand why I was extremely influenced by the man. His artwork was simply amazing!

I don't have too many on the list that I can name, but I guess I've learned mostly from (Valerie)Art Ala Carte, Mark Crilley, Alphonso Dunn, Brookes Eggleston, and of course Proko, all here on YouTube. Heikala and Ladowska on Instagram have something in their art that I think I try to emulate sometimes as well.

I am sad no one mentioned Proko's Kangaroo video as their greatest style influencer xD
Artist that influenced me the most was Miura Kentaro's Berserk, the style was just so different for what I was used to seeing, and he really tells a story of emotions and motions with his imagery

Movie pre-production and poster art, some game art. I came to appreciate comic art only recently and reluctantly, starting with Moebius. Amazed at how it blends with 'high' art in Japanese and some European classical artists - my favourites too. It's kind of all over the place now.

Bob Ross got me into painting in the first place when I was 12. Since then big influences have been James Gurney and Joe Cornelius, I like them for their ability to create imaginative things that don't exist in a realistic way, as well as their ability to explain things.

My art heroes are Astri Lohne, Kienan Lafferty and Karla Ortiz. I do understand how all these ppl in the video got inspiration from the old guys and stuff, and I do appreciate them a lot too, but I feel like this -new generation- of artists has influenced me the most
