Lettuce is THE easiest green to grow, there are seemingly infinite varieties, and it's also one of the priciest to buy fresh at a market, making it the perfect starter crop to grow at home. Join us in this full seed to harvest grow guide. Morgan: I have a whole bed of lettuce and I didn t take into account how the plants to would and block out light. Now my romaine is starving my butter crunch of light. Any chance I could pull it up and move it? Not sure what the roots are doing down there

I'm from Phoenix AZ. Last year I grew two different kinds of lettuce (Romaine and May Queen) in my raised bed and I let one plant of each kind go to seed. This winter I got lots of volunteers growing in my garden space and in my backyard. Plentiful lettuce with very little effort

Rip my lettuces (black seeded simpson. I call them curly lettuce. Eaten by pests, stunted, got too much heat because I live in tropical climate. I am trying to find ways how to grow them. Does iceberg lettuce tolerant to heat?

I got a bunch of little baby lettuces popping up. I'm so excited.
I love a good fresh fresh salad from the yard
I got Perris Romaine, Red Sail, Black Seeded, Red Butterhead and arugula to add that nice spice flavor
