To remove Chorine from city water, simply let sit exposed to air overnight. Pour water into a bowl and leave it on the counter for 12 or more hours. Chorine naturally evaporates away.
Also, there is a small error in temperature to dry out mushrooms. Turn pan on lowest heat setting. Alternatively, you can slice as recommended and place it in an oven at its lowest setting.
Great job on describing taste and texture and showing the value of drying out before cooking.

Fungi have Quitin not cellulose like plants so you need to break it down through an extraction process, otherwise you will not get its biocompounds well absorbed, but still will get its prebiotic properties. Nice educating video!

Okay y'all don't be making a mess with that salt and peppa now
Look forward to making this today when I harvest my current grow.
For mine I cut only one vent hole and my goodness it looks like a twin head of cauliflower on steroids and I didn't even mist it, I just let it get moisture from outside cuz it's been humid where I live in east Tennessee. Wish I could share a picture.

very late question, but about how much do one of these bags yield? i know obviously it varies ive grown mushrooms before, but a general roundabout on the bag would be awesome so i could figure out the price amount for the amount of lions mane grown by one of these vs just buying them online. obviously im sure its much cheaper, however im just very curious.

I have learned that the insides and shapes of vegetables and fruits often looks like the organs where they are good for. Like the lions mane mushroom that looks like a brain from the inside en the little hairs on the outside that look like nerve endings. And carrots that look like a eye from the inside but also have the long coney shape of a hair.

Love the Video EXCEPT! Boiling water does not remove chlorine and calcium, it just concentrates it, those chemicals don't vanish when the water is boiled, but the water does become less dense thereby making the ratio of other chemicles higher. Filter the water first to do the same trick

Love Lions Mane, Shitake, blue oyster, hen of the woods (odd texture, but tastes good. My son got me started recently, trying these. There is the amazing Maine Mushroom farm and they are at my local farmers market. Well worth the cost if you love mushrooms!

I have research on lions mane mushroom. I grown but after pin head come out I can not maintain its humidity. Plz suggest me how I can do this. Is warm water spray on the bags or after cooling the warm water. Plz suggest me i need help.

Looks a bit like cauliflower. But I need onions in my mushrooms. As someone who doesnt like the taste of seafood or shellfish but would love to try those recipes (such as crab cakes, this sounds like the perfect food for me!

Ive learned that with mushrooms its all about combining the right ones and the right ratios. Evolution apothecary has it down. Ive been trying to grow and extract my own for years but have yet to find it comparable

Mushrooms are not mostly moisture, theyre rather dry, and lions mane does not take up to 3 or 4 weeks, alot of misinformation in this video, do your research before u just start throwing up random information

I knew a spot where I could forage the dragon-tooth variety. I would make tacos w/ 'e m on corn tortillas with some quick pickled red onion.

When the bag is done fruiting use the grain to inoculate 5 more bags. Grow those inside and when those bags are done inoculate 25 more bags if you want to do it a little better
