Hey Laura I must have missed this tutorial cuz I can't remember the month and year that I started watching your videos anyway I'm glad you did this tutorial and it's now 2020 and 4 days before Christmas and I want to make a cedar Garland so thank you for this and Merry Christmas to you and Aaron and Benjamin and your sweet little girl that you're still incubating
From Dundee Oregon!

So gorgeous! How long do these live wreaths last? If I make them on Thanksgiving, do they last all the way through the first week of New Year?
I have a couple dying pines (no idea what species) in my lawn which I'm getting chopped off in time for Thanksgiving. I'd hate to waste their foliage and want to decorate using real plants this Christmas. How can I make a live wreath last?

thanks, this is very clearly explained! I have been making wreaths for the first time and I hope to be able to do the roping. Amazing how simple it is when someone takes you through it step by step, so now all I need is the stamina and time! Recommend hand lotion for we who can't work w/ gloves!

Absolutely stunning and you have such a warm, down to earth personality! I'm headed out in my yard to hunt for greenery! We have almost 2 acres of everything to pick from! I wish I were more crafty however I'm learning slowly but surely! Thank you SO much for this wonderful video!

i nailed it. thanks for the video. The tutorial was easy to understand and I am super proud of my garland. I used Fraser fir that I got off the bottom of the Christmas tree and Nandina which grows wild in the woods and has red berries! It looks awesome on my front porch rails.

p. s. since some are wondering, if it's still available Amazon has the paddle wire and if not, call your local craft/gardening supply stores! The gauge she mentions works great for wreaths, too.

Please show me how I should prune my evergreens for garlands and wreaths - it sounds silly, but I don't know if I cut from the top or bottom of plant? I want it to grow back evenly: )

This is beautiful. I wish we had these items available in FL without them costing an arm and a leg. I guess Ill have to get more branches than I usually do when I get our tree.
