Very beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
2 questions: what kind of stain did you use? I've never seen stained beds. I assume since you did it, the stain is food safe? Would love to copy you!
2) Do you have any advice regarding spotted wing drosophila? Had a terrible experience at a community garden. Pretty traumatized by seeing a white little larva in every single beautiful berry and abandoning the whole thing. Scared to try again!

During the hottest part of summer how long will you run the drip and for how long? I live in Sierra Vista AZ zone 8B high desert 4800 elevation and I am new to berries and I understand your weather there in Ontario because we use to live in Meridian and my husband worked in Ontario. It would give me some idea on how to water mine even though our UV index is much higher than where you are.

Curious as to why you are using this method of growing cane barries vs in rows trained to a wire on T post? As a berry farmers daughter we always grow into wires in rows so the mechanical berry pickers can be used. Never seen this before and looks lovely but seems like it would end up a wild mess of canes and difficult to harvest the fruit.

Can any long time viewer help answer what happened to Laura's old raised beds? I use to watch some of her older videos long ago and I remember all the raised beds she had there. I don't think she moved to a new property. She mentions she has been here for at least couple of years. I am confused. Just wondering if anyone knows.

My neighbor also planted raspberries and solved the problem of root spreading with geotextile. He dug a ditch on both sides of the a raspberry bed with sufficient depth and placed geotextile as an obstacle on the sides. Now the roots of the raspberry only go deep and do not come through the grass.

I hope you get to see this question and answer it in one of your Q&As. how do you keep your skin from getting toasted from the sun? I spend a few minutes in the sun and I get sun spots really bad. You don't even seem to tan.
Great videos, I; m learning so much from you.
