Planting Full Shade Window Boxes! Garden Answer ja: Oh Laura! Flower boxes are so pretty! Love all the pink! And that collection with the purple and chartreuse green-yellow plants was indeed striking. What did you wipe down your cart with? Teak oil of some kind I assume? Love watching the ongoing evolution of gardens. Thanks for the inspiration, always! xoxo

I've been watching you for years and I love your content but you seem to be showing more and more of yourself while you talk and less and less actual process of gardening, it's great to hear what's going on, but it'd be way cooler to see gardening happening instead of so much facetime

Do you make lists of these wonderful combinations? It would be great to have a shade section and a part shade section for the amazing combinations you put together! I dont have the background to combine plants the way you do. Is there a resource I could find to give options of groupings?

Laura, you've opened my eyes to a lot of beauty in nature. Had never thought about foliage texture, shape and colour.
Also, I'd like to thank Aaron for the wonderful editing of all the fantastic videos. The sound quality is excellent besides Laura's excellent diction.

This is my favorite type of video to watch. you putting together different types of living plants for an arrangement. This is what you do best. If Benjamin was there to say Good job mama! It would have been the perfect video!

This is alittle off topic but I was wondering about two plants years ago you planted but dont see them in garden tours. The Forsythia and the low scape mound. How did you like them I was thinking of planting them in my garden

Laura! Only nine plants in a 6-ft window box! I put 17 plants in a 6-ft window hayrack. I think I may be in trouble! Thank you for sharing you shade planting with us.
BTW: what did you use to clean the cart?

Please explain what you first put in the bottom of your window boxes & pots before you add the plants & what kind of dirt to use, a step by step explanation. My potted plants never do good with water drainage.

Hi laura, I'm a new gardner and have your videos on repeat and has helped me so much. Thank you. I was thinking about the cut flower garden name how about Serendipity? Such as Divine Serendipity biblical?

Just curious, when you do the raised wrap around porch, will the exterior height of the windows bother you? I absolutely love those window boxes & I'm glad you decided to plant them up again.
