Planting Containers For Sun and Shade! Garden Answer D. : Hey Laura, as always enjoy the content and all you bring to us. Have thought many times to comment on this but never have. Really enjoy the videography Aaron puts together, like how he throws in some unique footage, like ghosting you at times (not sure if what the tech. term is for that but enjoy. Also always like to see the aerial from the drone footage. You do a great job Aaron and desire a mention at the very least.

Hi Laura, I just wanna say I love your videos and you are a great inspiration. I look forward to watching your videos everyday.
Anyway, my question has nothing to do with the plants in this video. But Ive been wanting to ask you. Since you spend so much time out in the sun on a daily basis, what do you do to protect your skin? What kind of sunblock or spf do you use, if any?

Laura, I have a question about caladiums? I planted some in a planter and they did well. They got mostly afternoon sun. I moved to my lake house so I dug them up and moved them. I replanted them in the same planter but now they are very droopy. Are they too wet or getting too much sun? I am open to any ideas you may have?
Thanks from Weiss Lake, Cedar Bluff, Alabama!

In a month's time, this campus will be completely transformed by these plantings. I may be the only one bothered by this, but I hope they set aside some funds to paint the bench around that planter in the sun. Perhaps the colors in the plants will inform their choice of paint color. Gaaahhh! Paint it now!
Please forgive my outburst but, oh my. Lisa

I know what pride I take in my little trailer park yard. Its my pride and joy. So I can only imagine the pride you get, first by being asked to do it, and then watching the beauty unfold. I would be in HOG HEAVEN, if I had access to all the plants you have. lol Just love the videos. I have several friends that graduated out of Treasure Valley.

Hi Laura, I live in West Texas and with the last snow we just had made my boxwood turn yellow and only on the inside of all of them towards the bottom is green in the inside but yellow on the outside. What is your advice. Should I dig them all up and replant new boxwoods or just trim off the yellow part. Please help Laura. Thank you

Too funny! I have 5 big pots along my driveway. I planted supertunias bubblegum, fishing, white, and Bordeaux. They have drip run to them. I thought about adding Salvia for height but am pretty convinced they would not like it or do very well. My play in the blue Salvia will fill out a wave in the front yard. Love this video!

So tragic! We took a road trip to Ontario from Western Oregon SPECIFICALLY to see the Andrews Seed Company --no THAT wasn't tragic. It was a VERY cool experience! BUT--we were riding bikes there at the college this morning around nine! We must have JUST missed catching a glimpse of you guys planting. ! It all looks so cool!

Hi Laura and Aaron! You two are amazing the way you help your community. Those planters are beautiful now and I can't wait to see an update later on once they have all filled in. Great choices on flowers/plants. Thank you so much for sharing, and I'm looking forward to seeing the other planters and what you plant in them.

Laura! Im planting up some large-ish containers in front of my work. Id like to do some kind of evergreen or shrub that will provide interest year round, but still allow me to plant some annuals that I can refresh seasonally. Any recommendations? they receive morning and early afternoon sun, until about 2pm.
