I recently found Japanese gardening tools at a local Asian grocery store. One is a 10 inch pine handled small garden sycthe that is sharp as and the other is a hand-held steel triangular headed trowel. I oiled them both with Mineral oil before using and after. That trowel can do anything: cut a deep furrow for planting, weeding out surface weeds or deeply rooted dandelions. They are savage looking pieces of garden weaponry and I love them! $10!

i am a professional gardener as well and i will not go to work without my corona comfort gel weeder you should definitely try it! i i would love to see what you think. I also prefer barnel pruning saw above all others I have tried, they cut like butter when new and even when 10 years old saw cleaner and faster than every other brand of new fresh out of packaging saw i have tried

I came looking for the size of gloves you use and here you are with an answer! Great timing because I need a new pair. I love the hand tool that is two sided. I'm not sure what it's called but it has like a flat, hoe like side and then a rake side. We have hard soul with a lot of roots so when I'm weeding Or loosening the soil for planting I can hack through the roots.

This is a great help, I have just moved house in the UK and the property has a huge mature garden! I have never had a garden before so I have a lot of work and learning to do. I love your videos, I have watched them all and am sure I will be re watching them over the coming months for help and inspiration. They are so informative and professionally done. Thank you

Laura, I went to Amazon to pick up some of these and I'm a little confused. I wear size small gloves. Some Amazon reviewers said the F6 were for smaller hands and others said the handles are the same size, but the F6 is for pruning smaller diameter things. Do you know which is true? I think I want the F2 if they are the same size. THANK YOU.

I have my pruners hidden. If I don't they seem to be taken by others in my home and I can find them. I also hide my box cutter and small tool box. I looked at those gloves, they look great, although on Amazon, it looks as though they only carry small, I think I would need medium. Thanks for the tool tips, Blessings to you from Texas.

Loppers are at the top of my list. So much fun to use, lol.
For the larger branches, I wish I had seen this video before about the pruning saw. Would have saved me lots of money on a reciprocating saw that was expensive and isn't very satisfactory, but I had to have something for the larger branches. Live and learn, lol.

Do you have any succulent watering videos? I have about five succulents who are all very healthy and happy; but I feel like I do not water properly. I feel like I do to little, too often. The soil always seems to be dry the next day unless I am being too literal with wait until it's dry. Please, anything helps.

If you're not using gloves, do you have any tips on how to keep your nails clean, or how to really get them clean after gardening? I have tried dragging my nails over a bar of soap to create a barrier, but during the summer months, I have just accepted that my nails will be tinged dinginess.
