Succulent Arrangement Deconstruction Garden Answer Celia: Your videos have given me so much information and confidence in growing and having fun with my succulents. Thank you! I have learned to have fun combining different varieties to make a beautiful arrangement without fear of doing it wrong. I have learned that it's okay to prune back unruly plants and how to do it, and I have learned to how to start new plants from cuttings. I have always loved succulents, but there was always a little bit of a mystery for me about how to grow them. I am excited to take what I have learned from you and apply it to my succulent babies. One more thing. I love the way you combine and pack in lots of varieties in the same pot for beautiful arrangements. so pretty!

Hello. I have a question for you. Over the summer last year I bought an arrangement from my local Garden Center that I believe had some type of kale and other plants in it. When everything died except the kale and I went to look at it one day it had little green bugs all over it. I ripped it all out and I threw it into the woods. What I'm wondering though since that pot in the soil has just been sitting outside this whole winter. Would I be able to use the same pot in some of that soil, or should I discard all of that soil?

Confession time. this is my FAVE Garden Answer video. Idky but it totally soothes me! I find I watch it every time I see it pop up on my sidebar. And sometimes i play it to help my mind calm down for sleep at night.
Love the transformation of the plants, Laura's lil quirks (cleaning the top of a dusty piano. the besssst, cras-ooh-la, crass-yule-ah, whatever, the crunching of old foliage. lol, it's the little things in life! :) the best! :)

I enjoyed seeing you in an environment as I have. I dont have a space outside and must use kitchen counter if I want to plant. Love hearing you talk about the plants so matter of fact like. It has given me confidence to start making my own succulent planters and not be afraid of handling the plants. I am learning quite a bit from your videos and hope you continue. I get inspired from watching you.

So helpful. I learned so much! I accidentally dead headed a succulent of my sons. So I did put it in soil. (Although I had no idea about needing to let it callus. And what do you know, it is growing like a weed, and it is gorgeous. I didnt know that was a usual or typical thing. I will be trying it more often now!

You should learn to love the bugs. Most do help the environment. Please try and use natural insecticides and only for true pest bugs. also there was an adorable jumping spider on one of your pots you missed. They are so cute and friendly and will keep things like aphids and pest bugs at bay.

Hi again! If I may ask another question. I find that sedum get very straggly when I use them in arrangements. Could you give the names of hanging serums that work well in arrangements? Thanks so much for all you do. you're the absolute best!
