In my head I'm thinking of, having such a large container anywhere within my garden.
Sad to say I consider it an eyesore? Perhaps those who are apartment dwellers would get more use out of it.
Also whats underneath the planter base. An it should have a strip of metal that runs along the bottom. Thanks for sharing

Re the sage, try putting some butter and sage leaves in a pot and cook it on low for awhile until the butter is browned. Then you can use that on something like ravioli. Sure made me change my mind about sage. :) re the artemesia, i didnt know that is an edible herb? I thought it was more utilitarian/maybe medicinal?

I'm a Forestry major at UVM right in Burlington and would LOVE to get a job at Gardener's Supply Co! I work at a local garden center at home in CT over the summer but want to continue my plant work all year! Such a great company in a beautiful city and a great location down at the Intervale!

Maybe turning it into a fresh salad bar would be wonderful too!
Tomato, lettuce, berries almost anything that one could throw into their salad!
Would encourage kids to eat more greens if they could pick and prepare them on their own. allows creativity for adults and kids alike

I actually have a garden box on my deck. It is also out of cedar but I want to add board pieces on the inside to raise the depth of it up some. To me that's just to much dirt for a small box. So raising it up 5 inches will be much better for me.
Thanks Laura

Great project.
I was wondering if you could do a video on what to look for when purchasing plants in the clearance section? I noticed now a lot more plants that don't look great anymore (burned leaves, really dry soil) which are significantly marked down.

Love the plants and your idea. However, I don't think the bar is too practical. Does it have storage? I plant my herbs in a barrel on my patio. Its decorative and makes gathering herbs very convenient.

Now I'm super intrigued to learn more about your cooking and baking! Hope that you will share some of your recipes with us one day, especially including things that you pull from your own garden.

I planted up an herb garden in a raised 'table' for one of my clients. It was quite fun to plant and is easy and comfortable for her to maintain. Great idea! Love the design.
