Good Morning, this is the 2nd time watching this video. I was wondering if the seeds did get scattered due to the wind and they grow up in another area. Will you be uprooting the flowers and then transplanting them with the others? I love the color choices and I think like allot of container growing, if you don't watch over them they can get over abundant with seedlings. I found that when doing them that if they are in a container that can be placed in a cork still egg container that I can use a damp paper towel and a Ziploc baggie. I can place them in them until the leaves can get up to 1'' in growth then remove the weaker ones. Then space them out for another two to threes week. I leave a small opening in the Ziploc bag that allows air flow and keeps down mold and fungus. Gnats have a tendency to attack them because they are very moist filled. The condensation is heavy. I was also wondering if there is a way to keep those from laying eggs in the soil? I am afraid to use Neem Oil on the new plants as small as they are. Would this still work? Thank you in advance for your help. Have a blessed day and Thank you.

I followed the cold stratification recommendations on the PW seed packages. I purchased the red, white and pink. I followed the cold stratification instructions on the package and here were my results:
Pink: 7 of 15 seeds germinated (46%)
Red: 9 of 15 seeds germinated (60%)
White: 10 of 15 seeds germinated (67%)
Certainly not the best germination rates I have seen but certainly not the worst either. I did cold stratify in the freezer for 30 days and then germinated them under LED lighting at 70 degrees.

I did container planting with tulip bulbs in the fall. I didn't have very good luck with them, a few tulips came up but I have a squirrel that likes to dig in them: ( I bought the bulbs from Color Blends and purchased the Moris Gudenov (not sure the spelling is correct) but I planted them out front in the garden and they are STUNNING! I've had several friends ask for the Color Blends info so they can buy some. These tulips are show stoppers!

In Cincinnati zone 6a with our winter moisture I had to protect my bulb planters from excessive water with Tyvek (breathable covering for houses) and burlap. The freeze/thaw of our climate didnt work with the smaller containers. And most tulips are annuals for us, summer rain and irrigated landscapes are the death of tulip bulbs, 1 great year and 2 mediocre at best. Books and local nursery owners gave me the heads up.

My luck, or lack of it, was the same with the Berried Treasure red and white. I put the seeds in the freezer as directed and them sowed in a seed tray (Ferry brand seed pods) and placed the tray in our kitchen greenhouse window with indirect sun but plenty of light, then outside when it warmed up (still in the pods. After weeks I have about 3-4 that have sprouted. I just ordered bare-root strawberries!

Laura, I hope you see this comment:
I tried the PW Berried Treasure seeds in both seed starting trays and milk jug mix. I found that all of those that germinated in the milk jugs damped off and died, while those that were in seed starting cells did wonderfully. I germinated straight from the packet from PW, and the rest I put into the freezer for a few days is all. Had great germination!

Yikes! I screeched out loud when the planter slipped in the tractor bucket! So glad it stayed put! Thank you for sharing your craft with us and for being such a great teacher. I took your advice recently and went to my local garden center to just see what they had and read tags. Was so proud of myself for knowing what most of the plants were (solely because I have learned from you!
