Planting Some Fall Containers Garden Answer explain: Question about your cannas, any one please advise me! I have a lovely bunch of canna lily that I grew from seed this year, they have flowered all summer for me, I'm in zone 6, do I have to wait for them to hit a frost or freeze to make them go dormant before digging them up? I heard her say she was going to store hers in the garage. When do I dig them up? And any good tips for storing them?

How much time do you spend gardening? Is gardening and making videos your full time gig? I can't even imagine keeping up with that place if it's all I did. Its a dream for sure. Great job. Maybe you have already done this video but I would like to know what a typical day is like at your house and how much work do you do. I'm sure you will make me feel lazy.

Are all the flowers rooted into the same dirt? The white flowers looked tucked in higher.
How do you water them especially if they need different amounts of water? I'm sure you don't use a syringe!
Will the plants grow a lot? Will you have to trim anything back?
I'd love to see updates on these!

What a lovely combination. You always inspire me to try new and different plants for my containers. My neighbours think my garden is improving but I tell them about the your new videos and what an inspirational gardener you are. Now we can all have great containers and compare notes. So thank you!

Hey Laura I would have loved seeing how you split the plants for this container. I try to do that with most of my pots to save money but might learn something from seeing how you do it. Those are my favourite pots I've seen you do. Great job as always!

Can you please do a video on Native Terrariums (and closed terrariums) as this time of year I make one to keep a little bit of summer with me through the winter? I'd love tips, and enjoyed your previous videos on the subject.

Morning, did you give Aaron the day off. the mix is, lovely. I have to rebuild the east garden, due to hurricane Irma, in south florida, so I am taking notes. Thank for sharing and happy growing. hope I spelled hubby's name correct.

Oh you did a beautiful job! Everything goes so well together. Love, love, love it! I'm also in zone 5 (Michigan) so they would all do well for me too, especially that Anna's magic ball arborvitae. :) Take care, Anna

I'd love to see your method for winter canna storage. In zone 5 (same zone, it's a real labor of love to put them away and bring them out again each year. Worth it. But I'm always looking for other ways to do it.

You mentioned that Vincas are a Perennials. At my garden center the label states annual. We are a zone 5 as well. So if I leave the Vincas in the ground over winter will they come back in the spring?
