Fall Clean-Up + New Addition to the Family! Garden Answer Igor: After major summer storm with some extreme wind, all big trees was damaged or knocked down with lot of damage on our roof of house and outbuildings roofs, after that we decided to take down rest of big trees and I would newer again let trees on my property grow so big, I planted new, spicies that not grow very big and I prune them and keep under control, and we build pergola over our deck with wines for shade so we are not in need of big trees because of shade. Good thing is amount of leaves for cleanup during fall, when I remember what I was dealing before and now, this is peace of cake.

The best cat I ever knew was my Tom who was polydactyl as well. A key thing is to keep the front paws toe nails trimmed because the two toes are so close together, when the claws get long they can dig into the toes. My Tom was feral for a while until I tamed him and his nails were painfully dug into his toes. I got that resolved once he was tamed.
I'm very glad you've opened your hearts and home to another fur baby: )

Congratulations on your new baby! I just adopted a new little girl as well, (orange, of course) named Livvy, after losing my precious Tess this past February. Livvy has an oddity too, she was born without a tail! She is 6 months, and loves to play as well. She is my shadow, and I love it. Love your videos, especially the tours. Where do you get your beautiful statues? I LOVE your Versailles Garden!

You are like me i make up my own words lol, i pull the English Language apart lol x A question form you Laura, when we move we want one of the Large Greenhouses that you have. I know you have to have Drainage on the floor of the Greenhouse. i can see that you have stones for groundcover but what is underneath the stones? do you have slaps underneath of just the ground x

Once again, catching up on older videos I missed. Russell was so adorable as a baby! I don't find this kind of video boring at all. I love the real life feeling you bring. Gardening is hard work and not always glamorous but the work brings forth such beautiful results. It's nice to see the beauty but I enjoy seeing all the work it entails.

Oh man ivy is the bane of my existence. It's a really awful invasive where I live in south-western BC, so ivy just makes me shudder. My neighbour 5 doors down planted it in her yard a few years ago (eek) and now it's starting to pop up in mine. It's pretty. but not here: ( Jealous that you must live somewhere without invasive ivy.

I have two powerful words for you: Leaf Vac! One of my most fun toys that Ive ever bought for outside. I dont know if how you are doing your lawn is working like a leaf vac does, or if it is just doing regular mowing and happening to pick up some leaves. But a real lawn vac is Wonderful!

Garden Answers Beautiful fall yard. I try not to think of the leaves on the grass as a huge mess. I think they spread more color around and I try to enjoy them on the lawn for a few days. That may just be my way of trying not to stress over it. ;o)

I love watching old videos like this so we can see how different the garden beds look now! I definitely love that you took out the rose garden! Looks so much better with a bunch of lovely plants that give interest in every season!
