I love hayracks, but I'm not sure about the size ratio. It will be a very long stretch, so the depth, or height of the racks, will need to be larger for visual balance. Once the supertunias are flowing, you may not even see the racks. But at the begining of the season, and afterwards, they'll be visible. Then you have to clear them out and either leave them empty or decorate them for winter.
Then there's the irrigation issue.
What about planting vines at each post and hanging just one rack in the middle of each section? Then you're not dependent on just the visual interest from the racks.

seriously?
Confusing video. Outside the soil in the pots are frozen. The plants are dormant and won't take up water. You just encase them in a frozen soil ice cube. You need to water as the temperature gradually drops in the fall so it stays moist but stop once the ground or pot is frozen. If your area thaws and refreeze through out the winter just keep an eye on your perennials so the frost heave doesn't push the roots out of the soil exposing them to drying cold air. Cover with more soil and rewater during thaws if the soil is actually dry.

As part of my Christmas gift this year, my husband gave me money to buy fun stuff. I bought the bigger size veg trug and we JUST put it together. I sent him out for more soil, but I already got a bunch of lettuces, and kale and kohlrabi to plant in it.
I adore your familys garden center. It makes me want to move to Oregon just to shop there.
I cant wait to see Baby Boy. My daughters birthday is Jan 11th, she was due Jan 17th.

I get green with envy when I see all the plants in your greenhouse and the equipment that companies send. Kudos to you for creating a job for yourself that lets you do what you love and comes with such sweet benefits! Between that, the beautiful home, your new baby, etc, you are truly making an incredible life for your family. Congratulations, thanks for the great videos, and we will all be awaiting your new arrival!

How funny, great minds think alike. I bought a hay basket last WK as they had half off and i bought 3 hellbores, alpine variety. I love your fairy gardens but can't afford to buy lots of fairy garden stuff here in the UK so I have been making my own from fimo. really pleased with the results. All ready to use come spring! Love this nice long video. Hope baby comes soon. thinking of you often x

When you were talking about watering, you kinda grouped string of pearls in with the regular plants you were talking about. Does String Of Pearls generally like more water than other succulents?
Im just wondering because I picked up my first string of pearls a couple weeks ago from Leaf And Clay. Its a very tiny one (4. Just wondering so I wont overwater or under water! Thanks!

Can you do a video on what were seeing in garden centers now and how to take care of it? For example right now Im seeing primrose and campanula for indoors as well as some seed starting stuff. How would I take care of those indoor plants? And when should I be starting seeds. isnt it too early? I know baby is coming, dont know how many more videos youll be doing before then!

Hey, i thought, now that the new year is starting, could you do a video about lilys for how to grow them and care for them? :D I have mine for almost a year now and im still not sure how to care for them the right way. I just wanted to ask, maybe you could give me a more helpful explanation than the other videos i watched.
Greetings from Germany! :D

You are doing super! Good luck with all the baby stuff. I have a little hint for draining a hose since I have a horse and do it frequently in winter. I have a hose holder mounted up as high as I can reach. I can drag the hose over top and then hang them in big loops that are easier to handle when it is cold. Hope that helps. Can't wait for your next update
