A Few Simple Planters for Full Sun!
video description
I'm headed outside to plant five zonal geraniums (violet is in the name, but they're really a fuchsia) backed with three sun-loving coleus that have dark to pink veining with bright green leaves. If I need to get more there's still a chance the garden center will have the variety. I was inspired by your dark coleus and white supertunias you're repeating this year. As this garden is next to the public sidewalk (and we have a lot of foot traffic, I expect a lot of people will admire them.
You've inspired me to do drip irrigation this year and I was surprised it's very affordable.

This video has such an inspiration for me. I love the potted plants with topiary tree in the center. Plan to do topiary by myself: ) It is so expensive here. For 1 plant can cost me about $200. I really don't understand here. Please if anyone can help me. Does she plant the topiary tree with the pot as well into the urn? My brain tells me if I plant it straight away and I want to repeat the process for next year, it is hard to push the petunias into the urn and I will disturb the root of the conical boxwood.

I absolutely love all these videos Laura. It helps a lot and I've done a different variety for my planters this year. But i have a question, i planted 4 different provern winners - supertunia Bordeaux, diamond frost, supebells red & some fireworks in containers. I did that a little over a week and I did use a slow release fertilizer, been watering good but they haven't seemed to grow much at all so far. Any suggestions?

Hi Laura. have you ever considered planting this deep purple with an orange coloured plant. I know it sounds strange and I can't even think of what orange plant you would use but I like the look of the two together. And maybe even adding in a golden potato vine to add even more of a pop of colour. Anyway thanks for considering

Just wanted to let you know that the second planting that you put under the white scrolled arch really brought that feature out. This is something that I have been thinking about with not only the beauty of the pot presentation, but also how the overall look of the pot, background and so on go together. Thanks for more ideas.

what are the best containers to plant hydrangeas!
I want to place them on my flower beds (river rocks.
I've been having a hard time to find the right ones with enough room to grow them and i'm looking for ones with water reservoir as we travel a bit and PVC material, to survive our long Canadian winters.
Thanks!

I have question about your front urns. with the box wood not requiring as much water as the supertunia's is there concern for over water for box wood? I ran into trouble last year with this as a potential hazard and lost my shrubs, however my flowers looked amazing?

Hi Laura, love your videos!
How long can evergreens survive in a planter? I live in a zone 3 and I need something in the front of the house. We plan to do some construction/landscaping over the next couple of summers so I don't want them in the ground just yet.
