Ive heard you mentioning sedum before, and I love the look of it. Ive been wanting to add sedum, to hopefully spread as ground cover in my garden, where I have flagstone set down as a mini seating area, and a few stones leading up to the area. I just bought sedum tiles from Home Depot, and I love the way they look! Are you familiar with sedum tiles? I plan to separate them, and place them in the area to spread. Thank you!

No wonder Russell is such a great cat, he has thumb toes (polydactyl for those prone to correcting. When he reached out his paw at the end, that explained everything! I've had two orange cats with extra toes and they have been great cats with big personalities. Thanks so much for the videos Laura. I'm a Master Gardener on a budget but have gotten a lot of inspiration from your videos.

I totally got inspired after watching hundreds of your videos and this Mothers Day hubby surprised me with a couple of urn planters and a trip to pick up plants! I planted a boxwood as my thriller, petunias as my filler, and creeping Jenny cedum as my spiller. Flowers on the petunias fell off within 2days: ( and the creeping Jenny is dying already. Where in tarnation am I going wrong!

Hi Laura, I know you don't grow coleus for their flowers. I'm growing them for the first time in my new state (org. from AZ) and I decided to stop pinching off the seed heads just to see what the blooms looked like. I didn't hate the blooms, but the surprise bonus was that the hummingbirds seem to love them. Have you considered letting them bloom in your pollinator garden?

Is there 1 video that one of the cats do not show up in? I love it. There should be a seek and find for a prize in the videos. Kinda like where in the world is carmen sandiego or elf on the shelf. When you planted the hostas and just loved it so much when you were not holding camera. oh how real that moment was

I can't help but wonder how much cost the water bill is and also if drought impacts the farm. That compared to profit from a hobby farm. Like how is this a business other than the Proven Winner endorsement money. There must be farmers in the region that are full-fuctioning depending on their crops for money.

I love those frost plants! Theyre so beautiful! They look perfect in the urns you have at your entrance. I cant wait for you to fix up your shelves next yo your door. I just bought some and I packed them up with lots of color. A wreath would look nice too! You can do a video on that
Thanks Laura!

Can you tell me what kind of shovel you are using in this video? The small one with the long green handle with the loop? It looks perfect for a woman to use for planting. So many of the larger shovels are very heavy and difficult to dig with. P. S. Russell sure steals the show. he is adorable?

I will have to move two of the hellebores I put in this summer to a shadier spot. I can see the growth difference between the one shaded by shrubs and the two out in the sun. Can't wait to see the flowers next spring, already making a list of plants for next year. Ben is too cute for words.
