How to Spray Fruit Trees in the Winter Garden Answer Christina: gardenanswer love this video! can you do more videos on this type of stuff. things like plant/tree maintenance schedules for pruning, fertilizing and spraying. and problem solving videos. how to combat specific pests/diseases. love all the new plant demo videos and the planting inspiration ones too but we need help keeping all these things alive too! lol. I'm thinking a rosebush maintenance video for what to do as we head into spring would be an awesome one for example. maybe there is preventative spraying we can do for those too? love the idea of spraying BEFORE pollinators are around!

I need to spray my pear trees this year. First time since moving to the property 4 years ago. Didnt know we had to do this. Just wondering about temperature when spraying. My local garden center says not to spray when its going to be frosty at night. But you said you spray in the middle of winter. Which one is it. Lol. Also should I be spraying more than dormant oil on my pears if the last 2 seasons I ended up with cracked and rock hard pears? Any help would be appreciated.

In Washington State they pay you $10. 00 a tree to remove them. If you have them you must spray them. We have about 15 trees that will be three years old this year. So far no bugs. But the birds sure do love the cherries. The only problem we ever had when I was growing up was the earwigs getting into the apricots. Well see what happens with this tiny orchard. Will start spraying after a trip to the extension office.

Hey there. This is my first comment on a video ever so that's something, lol. I'm in zone 9b and we are having horrible aphids, powdery mildew and rust (I think. Just getting into more veggies, roses, and fruit trees but I need a better control method. All home remedies haven't worked. Neem oil doesn't seem to either. Maybe this treatment here? I'm desperate! Thank you!

I want you and Aaron to do a lawn video on moles and grubs. I live in zone 6 Illinois and have a bad mole problem. The moles eat all my bulbs. My out of state uncle told me to kill the grubs, but Im hesitant on pesticides because I also have a large pollinator garden. I don't want any bees or butterflies taking a break in my grass to die.

Thank you for doing these product info videos. As a relatively new gardener, it can be overwhelming to walk into a store (usually big box) and try to figure out what it is I actually need from the sea of choices on the shelves. I'm hoping to plant some apple and pear trees this year and if I do, I'll be sure to look for this product.

This is VERY VERY helpful! I've known for several years that I needed to spray my boxwoods with this oil in the off-season, but I was never sure exactly when to do it. The spider mites are really taking a toll! Will be making sure to take care of my boxwoods and all my other ornamentals correctly this winter. Thank you!

Why no protective gear? Children and pets should not be exposed to even organic, natural chemicals unnecessarily. I recall a time when RoundUp was considered safe. It may be best to use caution even with so-called safe materials. Otherwise, really good information for fruit trees. I hope to buy a few soon.
