Love your window boxes and the plants that you have used in them. I put a window box up last year thats similar to yours and had a hard time trying to find anything that will grow in it. We have a overhang and the window box faces north so there is hardly any light at all. In the afternoon we get a little indirect light from the west for a short time. I was able to grow ferns and I put some caladiums in also. The ferns did fine but the caladiums lost a lot of their color over the summer. Can you recommend any other plants I can use in dense shade?

I love the fall touches you added at the end. Its so nice you were able to grow all the cute little pumpkins and squash for your decorating! I think we will try that next year. It looks very nice and festive. The window boxes look great and live that you experiment! We do that too. So fun! And I loved seeing ways the same plant grows differently in sun vs shade. Wonderful video!

Does the chocolate drop coleus come back every year? And do you have to cut them back in the fall? The place i want to put it is in the shade. And the soil is sandy. Do you think the plant will like the sandy soil? Is it picky?
Can you please tell me what plants are not picky about the soil and are shade plant's That came back every year?

Definitely keep the window boxes white - it does go with everything. Also, I would put in the green striped pumpkins and gourds next to the pink caladiums. I think that would look better than the orange baby pumpkins. Love your boxes - and I truly love coleus and can't wait for the new ones from Proven Winners to come out.

Do you have a rule of thumb for how long to make a window box in relation to the window? If I have 54 should I be looking for something that matches that width perfectly? Or spans 2 on either side or 10%? Is there something that looks the 'most natural'? Thanks so much

I bought the Yorkshire window boxes last year and they did great but this year they didn't hold the water they leaked around the seams. I guess the glue doesn't hold the seams together for very long. I would not recommend these for a self watering option. But they due look nice. Love your videos

Can you create a video link for all of your specific jobs like irrigation or planting/pruning timelines on a calendar? I have such a tough time seeking all of your drip specific videos and guidance when Im shopping for tools. Either way, thanks so much for all of your hard work. I love you guys!

I agree, leave the window boxes white they look so pretty, all of the window boxes are looking incredible, those coleus are crazy pretty. You just have such great luck with your planters. Thank you for sharing, I also loved seeing chedder, such a pretty kitty. Have a great week, bye for now.

So your window boxes will you leave them like that for the fall winter season? . Will you change the look in the spring? Although they look healthy maybe abit to hedge looking for me and bushy looking looking for my taste. Lovely window boxes in white. Thank you haveva great week.
